When they/whoever decommissioned the Police Utility they left a LIVE 12v wire just loose behind the 2nd row of seating. That’s super dangerous, someone tried to put some electrical tape over it but it fell off. When I happened to touch it to the metal, huge sparks shot out.
I only discovered that when reading a 255-page pdf that keeps referring to a red junction box that was completely missing from mine. The people who took out the lights cut out a red positive protective junction box behind the second row of seats. In 2016+ Interceptors, that’s where you connect all the lights/sirens/radios.
I looked where I thought it was and nothing was there. I did see some wire I’ve been wondering about. So after I posted in a Facebook group, someone confirmed the wire was there but it was missing the nice red junction box was missing! I went and checked it out and noticed the metal plate from the above photo. I accidentally touched a metal antenna to the wire and a huge spark shot up! So I was able to fix it with a $35 item on Amazon but it was a pain and my wire work wasn’t that great.
