Ford Police Utility Rear Lighting Solution 66c or Ready for the Road

If you happen to end up with a utility with all of the lights, mounts, and covers missing like mine this is the page for you. What goes in here is (4) Whelen Ions. (or another maker).

Rear Lighting Solution (or Ready for Road package)
– Includes two (2) backlit flashing linear high-intensity LED lights (driver’s side red / passenger side
blue) mounted to inside liftgate glass
– Includes two (2) backlit flashing linear high-intensity LED lights (driver’s side red / Passenger side
blue) installed on inside lip of liftgate (lights activate when liftgate is open)
– LED lights only. Wiring, controller “not” included

All 4 lights shown at top installed

Here’s what it should look like

Here is what I received after purchase. All removed:

2 missing mounts, covers, and lights up top. They display to the top rear of the rear window.

What goes here are:

Shield – Passenger Side (RH) – Ford (DB5Z-13B464-AA) and

Shield – Driver’s Side (LH) – Ford (DB5Z-13B465-AA)

As shown below. Your best bet for replacing them is a group of owners vs. buying them online but both work. I’ve seen $65 for both or online $170.

These are the two flash guards
Here is what I’m told is the factory mount. I’m told it’s riveted in and haven’t found them for sale. I’m not quite sure about this one.
Here are some Whelen Ions with Flashguards on them and the mounts. No idea what mount there.
Tailgate lights are missing and mounts and covers

Whelen Ions fit in there. Otherwise, the covers are factory riveted in. You’ll either have to get the mounts or do it yourself with something else.

Good luck trying to fill these with lights or just cover them with blank plates or something depending on the laws in your area or your intended purpose or just leave the holes. Drives me crazy.
